Well the longest day is racing is over and Kurt Busch kept Chip Ganassi from getting the double.  Kurt Busch held off Jamie McMurarry in the closing laps to pick up his second win in a week at Charlotte Motor Speedway.  Busch had the dominate car in the closing laps, just like the week before, in the All-Star Race.  McMurray wanted to give the boss his second win on the day, but had to settle for a second place victory.  The “bad luck” for the 48 team continued on Sunday night when Johnson spun twice and managed a 37th place finish.  Kevin Harvick remains in the points lead after the 600.  Get an update of all the racing action in Charlotte on todays edition of The Race Report Update.

Kyle Busch didn’t make the Chase for the Cup last season, he was just too in consistent.  They fired his crew chief and brought in Dave Rogers and Busch hasn’t seen victory lane yet this season.  Busch has made a habit of piling up the wins early in the season.  Kyle believes that the reason he hasn’t won a race this season has nothing to do with him, he seems to put the blame on his team. (Boy that’s a surprise!).  Busch talks about his lack of victories on todays edition of The Race Report Update.

Kurt Busch was in victory lane on Sunday in Atlanta for the first time this season.  He did have to survive a couple of restarts, but in Kurt’s mind there was one reason he won on Sunday.  Towards the tail end of last season Kurt Busch lost his crew chief.  After a prolonged search they decided on a guy who had been let go from the #18 team at Joe Gibbs Racing.  Steve Addington had been the crew chief for Kyle Busch and now he is with the older Busch brother and it is paying off in a hurry.  Kurt talks about his new crew chief on todays edition of The Race Report Update.
