Mark Martin was one of the biggest surprises last season.  Making the move to Hendrick Motorsports was the chance of a lifetime and Martin made the most of the opportunity.  Leading the points going into the Chase and battling teammate Jimmie Johnson for the Championship down to the final week.  Now Martin says he expects to be even better this season.  Mark talks about the new season and his expectations on todays edition of The Race Report Update.

According to Jimmie Johnson his team should be one of the favorites to repeat the run for the championship in 2010.  Really?  The 48 team should be strong in 2010, really?  Wow who would have thought that.  Jimmie Johnson is the favorite from now until the time that someone dethrones him as the champion.   Jimmie Johnson shares his thoughts about his teams chances this season on todays edition of The Race Report Update.

Hendrick Motorsports had one of the best season of any team in NASCAR history.  The team finished 1, 2, 3 in the point standings and a four-time champ was the one that finished in third.  Most teams would settle for a third place in the points standings, but not Jeff Gordon.  Gordon had a great year by any standard and he is looking forward to the new season and he talks about 2010 on todays edition of The Race Report Update.
